Roz Moreton is a Visual Artist living and working in Carmarthenshire in South Wales, UK.

Having spent the last 25 years + working in the UK Creative Industries; Designer, Stylist, Interactive Producer, Consultant and supporting other artistsher role as a Creative Producer and Galley Owner, Roz is now focusing on my own arts practice.

Her creative work explores elements of the emotional and the physical, of the human body; our relationship with our environmental and political space. Her explorations; drawings, photography, film and creation of 3D objects, capture Humanvs Nature interactions of our natural and man-made landscapes.

Currently developing new series of work 'Language of Landscapes' - which seeks to explore through found and the creation of constructed land elements and including textile fabrications the human connectionswith our post-industrial Welsh landscape and devolved voices, especially those of the Deaf and disabled, finding ways ‘to empower’ those voices.

Roz is supporting this process through her own lived experience as a disabled person, looking at this through a dyslexic mind, eyes, and voice. The 'Language of Landscapes' research and development is funded by a  Arts Council of Wales Creative Steps research and development grant. The project started in February 2024.

Prior to this Roz recieved an  Emerging Artist Commission from the Disability Arts Cymru (DAC) ‘Aildanio’ Art Prize 2022, her ‘Silent Voices - Pandemic’ pieces toured throughout Wales at g39, Ty Pawb, Oriel Davies and finishing atthe Glynn Vivian in September2023.

Health issues including a rare brain condition, chronic migraines, Ehlers Danos Syndrome (EDS), and neurodiversity influences the frequency of her work, and her approach to her creative practice andhow she creates and curates her work.
